A woman stepped into a cab and noticed that the very attractive driver kept glancing at her through the mirror. After a few moments, she asked, “Is something wrong? You keep looking at me.”
The driver hesitated, then said, “I don’t want to be rude, but I’ve been holding back a question. I’m just not sure how you’ll take it.”
She smiled and replied, “Don’t worry. I’ve lived long enough to hear just about everything. Go ahead and ask.”
The driver took a breath and said, “Okay… I’ve always had this odd dream of being with a nun.”
The woman paused, then said, “Well, let’s see. First, you need to be single. Second, you must be Catholic. And… because of my vows, anything physical would have to be from behind.”
The driver, surprised and excited, quickly nodded. “Yes! I’m single, I’m Catholic, and I’m totally fine with that.”
“Alright,” she said. “Turn into that alley.”
A while later, as they drove back onto the main road, the cab driver suddenly burst into tears.
She looked at him and asked gently, “Why are you crying, my dear?”
Through the tears, he confessed, “I lied. I’m actually married… and Jewish.”
The woman grinned, pulled off her habit, and said, “That’s okay. I’m Kevin, and I’m on my way to a costume party.”
