After spending many years alone, a 70-year-old widow decided it was finally time to find love again. She thought about it for days before placing a small ad in her local newspaper.
The ad was simple but very clear.
“Looking for a husband. He must be around my age, must never hit me, must never cheat on me, and must still be good in bed. Please apply in person.”
The next morning, her doorbell rang.
She smiled, thinking the search had begun.
But when she opened the door, she was completely shocked.
Sitting outside was an elderly man in a wheelchair. He had gray hair, a big smile, and… no arms or legs.
She looked at him in surprise.
“You can’t seriously think I’m going to marry you,” she said. “You don’t even have any legs!”
The old man smiled without missing a beat.
“That’s exactly why I can never run around on you,” he replied.
The widow couldn’t help but laugh.
“Fine,” she said. “But you don’t have any arms either.”
He grinned again.
“Which means I could never hit you.”
She had to admit his answers were clever.
Then she looked at him carefully and asked the one question that mattered most.
“But tell me… are you still good in bed?”
The old gentleman leaned back, smiled proudly, and said,
“Well… I rang the doorbell, didn’t I?”
The widow burst into laughter.
